Do It Yourself

The choice is yours: You can either enter a shop and spend a ton of money on hi-fi equipment. Or you can have a ton of fun building it yourself.

DIY audio with tubes ("valves" for Brits) is not that complicated. It's just dangerous because high voltages are involved. But once you get the hang of it, chances are that your homebrew amps or speakers or whatnot will not only be a lot of fun to build but will also sound at least as good as the expensive stuff you could buy in the shop.

I've added some of my own projects just in case you're interested in tube stuff that's a bit off the beaten track. Enjoy!
